Training is needed.
On a recent trip to Zimbabwe, Country Consultant Keith spent time with young people involved in a training program connected to a local church. He was so encouraged by their enthusiasm and passion that he arranged for them to travel to Zambia and present about their program at an annual conference. They enthusiastically prepared themselves, organising matching outfits and practising their presentation.
On the journey they prepared and held morning and evening devotions and despite delays at the border, their spirits and enthusiasm remained high. After seeing and hearing about the group from Zimbabwe, groups of young people in Zambia are keen to start their own similar training programs.
There is a significant need for the next generation of church leaders in Zambia and Zimbabwe. Pray for God’s Spirit to be moving powerfully in the hearts of these young people and growing the faith and understanding of God.
