Margaret has always had a heart for mission. She served in South Africa for two and a half years. After returning to Australia, Margaret worked in the NSW/ACT Baptist Mission Australia office for five years. In 2018, God prompted her to approach Baptist Mission Australia about serving interculturally.
In 2022, Margaret joined the Ethnic Thai team, and is being used by God to make a difference in people’s lives by sharing the love of Jesus with them. She is based in a rural area in Northern Thailand, focusing on culture and language learning lessons, providing administrative assistance to the Thai team, and with the view of teaching English in a local school. Margaret looks for ways to walk alongside the local Ethnic Thai people and share her faith in Christ with them.
Margaret has nearly 30 years of administrative experience, mostly in the not-for-profit sector. She has also served in church ministry roles including Kids Church Leader, newsletter editor, café ministry and missions ministry leader at her home church.
Margaret is passionate about sharing the Gospel with Ethnic Thai people, and seeing vibrant faith communities sharing Jesus in their own distinctive ways. Please consider financially and prayerfully partnering with her and the ministry in Northern Thailand.
