Mat and Shannon Anderson and their four children Beth, Peter, Caleb and Samuel have served in Outback Australia since 2018.
They live in Yuendumu and they are learning from the Warlpiri people in the Tanami Desert. Relationships are the key to ministry in communities so each day and week look quite different, building strong relationships as opportunities arise. Leadership Training Camps and one-on-one discipleship are staples of their work.
The Andersons are moving into a new season in 2023 serving in Kalkarindji and Lajamanu, eight hours north of Yuendumu and five hours west of Katherine. They are looking forward to building on the foundations of cultural learning and expanding that with learning about the Gurindji language and culture.
Through living alongside First Nations people, learning from each other and growing in their obedience to God and His word, Mat and Shannon are passionate about seeing vibrant faith communities following Jesus in their own distinctive ways.
Your partnership with Shannon and Mat means they can continue serving God in Outback Australia. Thank you for your faithful prayers, sacrificial giving and active encouragement.
